depends on what shop and if they do this every day?you see that white 2000 f-150 in my profile picture?i took it to a radiator-a/c shop here where i live.family owned, father started it over 60 years ago.now the son, daughter and one other full time person only.this is all they do,every day, well mon-fri anyways.it took both the son and the other guy 8 hours to do mine.they furnished the heater core, coolant, hose, clamps, back flushed the system, and a 12 month parts and labor warranty, out the door for $442.00.that was 6 years ago,and hope i don't have to have it done again, because i saw him a few months ago and he said it's $600.00 now.my truck has 307,000 miles on it.

that's a good price on yours, and i know on some vehicles there are short cuts, where you don't have to pull the entire dash out.but on mine they had to,including the steering column.both the heater core and the evaporator core are in the heater box, behind the dash.good luck with it.
